The POP-EXPOSE

THE POP EXPOSE – Moon Knight Review by Mitchell Smith!

Hello everyone, today I’m checking out the new Marvel series on Disney+, Moon Knight. Moon Knight is into its first 2 episodes and so far it does not disappoint. Based on the character created in 1975 and who has made several appearances throughout the comics. Moon Knight did have his own comic series in the early eighties and has been compared to Batman in some ways. Although Batman may have been an influence to writer Doug Moench and artist Don Perlin the new Disney series does not have any type of a Batman feel. The first 2 episodes have been very interesting.

Steven Grant played by Oscar Isaac who works in a museum gift shop starts to figure out his powers and abilities. Steven keeps having blackouts and he does not know what is happening to him. There are many twists and turns and lots of suspense as Steven tries to wrap his head around what is going on and who is good and evil. Isaac is joined by Ethan Hawke and May Calamawy as he tries to figure out who to trust and what is real. Isaac does a great job bringing this character to life. The first 2 episodes drew me in and I can’t wait for another episode.
